DeakinThe Project Factory has built the 3D Second Life version of the ABC’s surreal dance film to be broadcast on 29th July. In this virtual world quest audiences can experience what it’s like to be one of the characters in the story while sharing the experience with their friends.

Thursday’s Fictions is the story of a woman who tries to cheat the cycle of reincarnation to get eternal life. Adapted from the book, Thursday’s Fictions, by Dr Richard James Allen (short-listed for the Kenneth Slessor Prize for Poetry at the 2000 NSW Premier’s Literary Awards), the film deals with themes of reincarnation and the nature of our universe.

The Thursday’s Fictions show was on ABC TV Sunday 29th July at 3pm.
